» 001. ) — WHAT'S THE GAME REALLY ABOUT?

Characters are pulled into a town called Shiokawa, located in Japan. It's a coastal town with a mysterious lighthouse, locked up with five locks. There are five Old Gods warring among themselves to be able to rule over this waypoint in the multiverse.

In their eternal struggle, some God might get ahead of the others and begin to further influence Shiokawa. If and when this happens, their 'rule' over Shiokawa will change. The God that pulls characters in at first is GOIZO, The Thing Forsaken by God. More will be revealed as players poke and prod and tear apart Shiokawa.

There's a sense of 'doom' that pervades the atmosphere of the place. What turns the Gods away even a little, oddly enough, is connection. They're so far removed from the player characters in terms of morality and design that this seems to disgust them as much as it amuses them...

» 002. ) — HOW DOES WORLD OF HORROR INFLUENCE THIS GAME?

It's based in the same location and the Gods are the same as in World of Horror. Some events will be similar to mysteries, but won't be exactly the same.

» 003. ) — SMUT FRIENDLY? IS SMUT MANDATORY?

There will be smut/cuddle aspects of the game, but it will never be necessary to advance the plot. It just keeps the Gods' rule and influence at bay a little.

By engaging in cuddling, hand holding, heartfelt conversation, as well as sex acts, characters will find their sanity a little more stable. There are other ways to keep the sanity stable, of course.

» 004. ) — DOOM METER? SANITY?

The doom meter is the general sense of dread that plagues Shiokawa. As this goes up, there will be more unrest with the inhabitants and creatures that plague them.

The 'sanity stat' is one's personal Doom Meter, sort of. It's something you can keep track of yourself. Certain events and an uptick in the Doom Meter will deplete sanity. This will make a character more agitated, paranoid, violent, withdrawn, explosive, etc. Feel free to play with it.

There will be ways to lower both the Doom Meter and raise sanity; some will be smut, some will be not smut.

» 005. ) — ARE THERE ANY PLAYER/CAST CAPS?

Nope.

» 006. ) — HOW ARE POWERS HANDLED?

No nerfing here, boss. How else are you gonna fight carnivorous pitcher plants and urban legend monsters?

» 007. ) — ITEMS AND PETS AND SUMMONS?

Five items are allowed. They don't have to be on your person when you look into the reflective surface; as long as they're important, they'll be there, somehow safe even though they're a bit wet. Pets/summons/etc. will be there, quietly asleep.

» 008. ) — WHAT'S WITH THIS 'CURSE' MY CHARACTER STARTS OUT WITH?

Characters are afflicted with 'Cursed Sigils' when they wake up. One of their eyes will be blacked over (or will be pure white, if their eye is already blacked out) with strange, illegible sigils on the skin around it. It doesn't hurt them, though the more they wait to find a solution to their problem, the more they'll find themselves turning eldritch.

You're free to play around with this, but some symptoms include: speaking in strange tongues, ichor leaking from their mouth or eyes, tentacles where tentacles shouldn't be, a general break in sanity, paranoia, violent behavior.

The way to cure this is with yet more connection. Could be a bunch of sex, or could be a well-timed hug. But it has to be just right. Feel free to play with that, too.

» 009. ) — COVEN SYSTEM?

There are three covens that a character can be sorted into — Anathema, Miasma, and Bane. Members of any one coven will feel a connection to others of the same, and a very slight aversion to the coven that holds theirs' weakness. Anathema is weak to Miasma, Miasma is weak to Bane, and Bane is weak to Anathema. Think Pokemon types.

» 010. ) — CHARACTER DEATH?

Can and will happen. You can have five deaths. With each death, you come back a little more cursed, like when you first arrived but more intense each time.

» 011. ) — WHAT ABOUT THE NETWORK INFO?

There's a network available with all the usual trappings: audio, video, text capabilities. They can pick their own usernames. Easily hacked. Anonymous posting is allowed.

Characters have to find a way to get a suitable device, though.

» 012. ) — HOW MANY CHARACTERS CAN I PLAY?

Three. Two may be apped in one round.

» 013. ) — APP/RESERVE CYCLE?

Reserves will be open from the 1st through the 4th of each month.
Apps are open from the 4th through the 8th of each month.

Apps and reserves are both open indefinitely.
