SETTING.
( FULL NAVIGATION )
» 001. ) — GENERAL
You have the city, the seaside, the forest, and the village. More locations will be unlocked as the game goes on. The city is a typical modern Japanese city. There are trains that go in and out, but if you try to leave Shiokawa on train, you'll feel foggy and lightheaded the further you go... Only to wake up on the train rolling into Shiokawa station.
Attempts to leave by sea or forest are met similarly; in the sea, a whirlpool will suck you in and leave you on the beach, whereas in the forest you'll run into a wall of vines, thick and writhing, that swallow you up. These both count towards your death count.
» 002. ) — THE PEOPLE
Are generally friendly enough. You have salarymen looking to get home, you have mothers walking with their children, you have uniformed boys-n-girls heading towards school. There are homeless folks and gang members, priests and stalkers and everyone in between.
When the sanity depletes, they might seem a little more monstrous... But is that real? Are they really sharp-fanged sea-people under their friendly exteriors, did you see those gills right? Or are you just losing it?
» 003. ) — THE LIGHTHOUSE
Is inaccessible. There are five locks. If you try to bring up the lighthouse to an NPC, they'll quickly change the subject, made uncomfortable...
